The first resurrection

THE “FIRST RESURRECTION” (HIS ELECT ONLY)

Immediately after the great tribulation, and because of the nuclear aftermath, the atmosphere of the earth is still covered in darkness caused by an immense radioactive vaporous mixture, of ash, dust, smoke, soot, and all the different gasses!

Therefore Jesus said : “And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming (the Bright Morning Star) will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And He will send out His angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather His chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth... (Matt. 24: 30 - 31)

The apostle Paul wrote: “ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ (from the great tribulation) shall rise first (This is the first resurrection.) ; then we that are alive, that are left (after the great tribulation) , shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thess. 4:16 - 17)

John saw and confirmed the following: “This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead will not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.)  Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:5- 6)

From the foregoing and the following revelations, it is very clear that only the Christian saints of Jesus Christ, from the great tribulation constitute the “elect,” who will participate in the first resurrection.

About 2500 years ago, Zechariah declared the following about the Jews on this particular day: “And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me (Jesus) whom they have pierced (crucified).

Yes, they shall mourn for Him, as one mourn for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, every family apart; … all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.” (Zech. 12:10-14)

Consequently; these Jews are not and do not make out to be and will not be amongst the Christian “elect!” They will all remain behind with the first resurrection!

But one third (less than 1 million), “only a remnant” will be saved during: THE EVENTUAL RETURN OF JESUS, WHICH IS THE DAY OF JUDGMENT FOR THE NATIONS ON EARTH!

However; with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and His angels on the clouds, and during the first resurrection of the dead after the great tribulation; the Christian Jews, will be saved!

But for the rest of the Jews, who are scattered amongst the nations of the world, who are without Jesus Christ as their Saviour, for them it will be as it is written: “And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev 20:15)

It must be clearly understood though, that to this day; Only Jesus Himself was resurrected from death and Hades, into Heaven! And having been made perfect, He became unto all of them that accept and follow Him the Author and Source of eternal salvation; He was named and designated by God as High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. (Heb. 5: 9-10 & 7:1-28)

Therefore it must also be understood that until this current date, none of His saints have been resurrected who are held in safeguard, those who are laid down to rest in death and Hades, who await their resurrection from the dead! (1 Cor. 15: 12 - 23)

Neither will any one of His saints be resurrected prior to, or during the great tribulation period of three and a half years. Only after this terrible period of devastation, persecution and death will His “elect” be resurrected! (Matt. 24: 21- 31)
